Ian McCarthy is an advanced clinician with over 20 years of experience in musculoskeletal medicine, renowned for helping patients achieve lasting pain relief and restore efficient, pain free movement. His approach is grounded in Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) principles, allowing him to identify and correct the root causes of movement dysfunction. This is complemented by advanced training in osteopathy, sports medicine, athletic therapy and strength & conditioning, creating a highly precise and results-driven framework for assessment and treatment.

Athletic Background
Ian brings the perspective of a lifelong athlete. He has completed:
2 full Ironman races, including a sub-10-hour finish at Ironman Cozumel in 9:41:31
- 16 years of competitive rugby winning 2 national titles in Ireland.
His sporting experience gives him first-hand insight into performance, recovery, injury prevention and mindset, directly informing his clinical work.
